Amazon’s dash buttons are a novel concept, with great potential for easily ordering items in your home. The idea is that when running low on a product, you can simply press the button for this specific item and amazon will immediately order the product.
One of the big drawbacks for this product is that living in a house will allow for products to be delivered no problem, but apartments are more difficult as you may have to go to post office to pick up your product. Which would render the usefulness of this product to nothing as you could just pick up the product at a store.
After criticism about having to pay $5 for each of these buttons amazon added the ability to get your 5 dollars back when using the products, donating 5 dollars as credits when ordering the product with the button.
Limited selection of products, have to choose from the ones it lets you. At this point you can’t customize the products you want to order. Although it seems this might be something that will be possible in the future.
